2023 Closing Gala – Una Bellissima Serata


The Adelaide Italian Festival Closing Gala Dinner returns to the South Australian Italian Association on Carrington Street where renowned South Australian Chefs, San Remo’s Adam Swanson and Ricardo Cavuoto have curated a menu that will take you on an Italian culinary journey with a sumptuous five-course menu, with a bottomless glass of first-class Italian Wines, courtesy of Serafino Wines.

Antipasto to share

Salumi misti, vedure, formaggio, carciofi fritti, pane` di casa

Wagyu bresaola- cacio e peppe sugo`, rocket



Tortiglioni Salsicce- pork & fennel salsicce ragu, tomato sugo, basil, parmigiano

Caserecce Pesto – broccolini, chilli, garlic, basil, ricotta salata


Secondi – To be shared

Slow cooked, Sangiovese beef cheeks w` soft polenta and gremolata

Roasted Barramundi – ( alla puttanesca) cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, white anchovies, basil, risoni pasta.

Tuscan potatoes – twice cooked kipfler potatoes, rosemary, garlic, sea salt

Insalata mista- iceberg, radicchio, rocket, white balsamic, olive oil, truffle pecorino



Espresso panna cotta – chocolate ganache, almond biscotti crumb

Featuring the elements of this year’s creative, the limited edition plate celebrates what it means to “viaggiare” (travel), “mangiare” (eat), and “bere” (drink) like an Italian in South Australia.
