A week-long celebration promoting Italian cuisine, La Settimana della Cucina is an initiative launched by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Cultural Institutes abroad.
The Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is a vibrant festival showcasing the flavours of Italy with no limits. The annual event has been developed to promote Italian culinary traditions and, of course, food and wine.
In 2023 the theme for La Settimana della Cucina is “A tavola con la cucina italiana: il benessere con gusto” (at the table with the Italian cuisine: well-being with taste). The week will focus on good health and good taste.
The Adelaide Italian Festival is proud to be working with the Italian Consulate in Adelaide to bring the South Australian community as many culinary events as possible to showcase the flavours of La Settimana della Cucina.
