It was only three years ago that the new Adelaide Italian Festival format was launched with 20 open access events. Now we are bringing South Australians over 70 incredible events that celebrate everything Italian from music, film and book, fashion and arts to traditional song and dance and, of course, food and drink.
This year’s festival is not only our biggest one yet, but proves that we are truly on our way to becoming the world’s largest celebration of Italian culture outside of Italy.
The Adelaide Italian Festival acknowledges that our festival takes place on the traditional Country of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains and pays respect to Elders past and present. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge that they are of continuing importance to the Kaurna people living today. And we also extend that respect to other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations.
The continued success and growth of our 10 day festival would not be possible without the support of our valued partners. Please take the opportunity to support these generous businesses and organisations.
